The Cablegram from France Received Here Sunday} A cablegram was received Sunday ‘by Mr. and Mrs, E. E. Morris of Sixth street, from their sons Eugene and Edward E, Jr., who are now in France with their regiment, The cablegram dated from Paris follows: “All well, no mail.” Letters have ‘been sent from the Morris family three times a week since the time the boys sailed from (New York and the fact that they have not received them is a surprise to the parents here. At least ten packages have also been forwarded. The last mail received from the boys was dat- ed Christmas day and mailed from England. Basketball Team Girls’ Wins from M Mandan, 6—3 The Bismarck «high school girls’ ‘basketball team defeated the Mandan team 6—3 in a fast game in the Man- dan high school gym Saturday night. For Bismarck Lillian Renner made one field basket and Rose Hanlon one field basket and two foul baskets. For the Mandan team Ruth Renden made a field basket and one foul throw. Fol- lowing the game the mandan team entertained their visitors in the din- ing room of the domestic science room. Miss Densford of the high school faculty, chaperoned the team.
