To Sell Land. The idea of a club selling land direct is a new one, but members of the Frohn Equitable Farmer’s club, who have begun the movement are in hopes of interesting other clubs to adopt the idea and thus work co-op- eratively for the bringing of settlers into this section. The club believes that the land merchants will be bene- fited as much as themselves. When ever a land man has a prospect they invite him to bring that prospect to any of their members, who will gladly go on an inspection trip with the “home seeking” party. Officers Elected Anxually, The club officers comprise a presi- dent, vice-president, secretary, trea- surer and are elected annually. The following is a list of the clubs and their officers for the past year. Eckle Farmer’s Club, L. A. Gould, The taxable valuation for 1914 amounted to $7,546,442, divided as follows: Land values, $6,355,689; personal property, $1,190,753.
