Not only do these Bemidji Stores offer you a chance to increase the buy- ing power of your money, and a better quality of merchandise for the price, but in addition to this, they will refund your railroad fare if you buy anything to speak of at all. It can, therefore, readily be seen that it will pay you to come to Bemidji during this Great Trading Festival, and supply your needs in every line of merchandise. Plan your shopping trip before you put down this paper and arrange to be in Bemidji for the Big'Opening Day. HOW TO GET YOUR FARE BACK Persons coming to Bemidji from any of the surrunding towns to trade during the merchants’ big co-operative sale will get their fares refunded, providing 5 per cent of their purchases equals the amount of the fare or more. You can secure REFUND SHEETS from any merchant co-operating or cut the sheet of out of this paper and take it on your shopping trip to the stores who are in on the big Co-operative Sale. Be sure to get one before you begin your purchases. Then present it to each store where you make a purchase so that the amount may be entered upon it. When you have finished shopping bring it to the PIONEER OFFICE where your fare will be given you in cash, providing your purchases amount to the sum required according to the above schedule. This great “Trading Festival’’ has, of course, created considerable competition 'among the many stores, but this is all the better for those who buy, and it ill mean unqualified bargains in every line of buiness. 3 Never béfore in the history of this city have Bemidji Merchants offered such wonderful values and such immense stocks from which to select. Under this plan the shoppers who attend the sale may distribute their patronage among as many stores as they desire. Each store will issue refunding sheets to E per cent of every purchase, which will be paid in cash to the amount of your fare when presented to the office of the Bemidji iPoneer who will act as clearing house in refunding fares for all the stores. 5 The only condition to receiving of the Railroad Fare is that the aggregate purchases reach a certain small total which will, of course, vary for the various number of miles traveled. You will save time and money and be fresher for your buying trip by using the advertising pages of this paper for your buying guide. Turn to the advertising now. You Can Bring‘ the Whele Family Every member of the family is entitled to a refund ‘sheet, and railroad fares will be paid to all providing five per cent of their purchases will amount to the price of their tickets. For instance; the father may make his purchases where he chooses and secure the amounts purchased by him entered on the refund sheet. The mother may do the same and the son and daughter may do likewise. In each case, however, where 6 per cent of purchases amount to .more than the price of their ticket, only the price of such fare will be refunded, where it amounts to less or the exact amount the full \5 per cent will be paid. Remember the only place to secure your refund is at the Bemidji Pioneer Office, who will act as a clearing house for all the - merchants. Farmers Included as Well as Town People Fares will be refunded to all persons who come from a distanee equal to any of the surrounding towns, whether by the team or rail, this will include farmers as well .as persons living in towns. The price of railroad ticket to and from any of thse places will be refunaed to all persons whether farmers or townspeople, who.drive to Bemidji to' trade during this big sale just as though they came by the M. &I., Soo, Red Lake, or Great Northern. For instance, a person residing im Solway, or a farmer who lives nearer that place than any other town from which: fares are to be refunded, ‘'who drives to Bemidji to trade during the sale will get the price of a railroad ticket, provided his pur- chases amount to the required sum. Amounts equivalent to railroad fares according to the distance will be refunded to all persons coming from or near any of the inland towns, the same as if located on a railroad. Come by team or rail and get your fare pack or an amount equal to it.
