F., re. turning the thanks of the committee for the compliment paid the Fraternity by closing the schools on Friday, m order that many of the children may participate in the celebration. Also inviting ‘he Mayor and members of the Board to be present. The invitation was ac- cepted. r. Rhees, chairman of the committee on the annual report, read the same, and it was Adopted. On motion of Mr. Wilson, a vote of thanks Was tendered to Mr. Khees for the very agle manner in which he prepared the report Mr. Wilson also offered a resolution, which wes adopted, requesting the Mayor (0 ask the City Councils to order the printing of 2,000 copies of the report for the use of the Mayor, the Councils, and Board of Trustees. The report adopted iast evening is very full, and contains much information relative to tne public schools.
