John-Morley’s assumption of his duties as Chief Secretary for Ireland, by taking up his residence in Dublin, has created much excitement and interést among Irishmen, Among the first fruits of Chief Secretary Morley’s presence in Ireland is the release of a man who had been imprisoned for contempt of court by defying the decision of a judge on a question of eviction.
