Notable Event Will Follow n “Streets of Wonderland” , Bazaar. Charity entertainments and bazaars *¢ varying size and importance will feature the opening weeks of Brook- lyn’s club and social season. Although membtrs of practically every organi- zation in the borough are serving on some committee for the big “Streets of Wonderland" pageant-bazaar,which day, Nov. 8, and Sat- Nov. 4, at the 13th Regiment , that does not prevent them from planning separato entertainments of their own The society cireus and ndoor carni- val which will be held Thursday, Oct. 12, Friday, Oct. 13 and Saturda; . 14 by: the Brooklyn College Club, Joseph Riley, President, at the club- house, No. 4% Clinton Street, is the first large even of the season. This ‘will be a combination bazaar, amateur cireus and dance. Former Governor Alfred E. Smith is expected to open the carnival Thursday night. Since the club is composed of the P alumni of Brooklyn College and Brook- lyn Preparatory School the first night will be Alumni Night. Friday night will be Undergraduate Night. The parishioners of St. Ignatius Loyola Church are also expected to attend in s body. ‘The last might of the enter- tainment will be Brooklyn Night. ‘The patronesses include Mrs. James J.
