ITHACA, May 12. — Representa- tives of forty-five leading college publications of the Kast met here to- day at the opening session of the tion. To-day will be devoted to greeting the delegates by city officials and the Secretary of Cornell Uni- versity. Among the speakers listed is Dr. Livingston Farrand, President of Cornel], and former business man- ager of the Daily Princetonian. Sev- eral prominent newspapermen have promised to attend and address the convention To-morrow morning the business session will be foNowed by a tour of Ithaca as the guests of the Ithaca Board of Trade. The trip will include visits to spots of scenic interest. In the afternoon, the delegates will attend the annual track meet between Pennsylvania and Cornell and the baseball game between Syracuse and Cornell immediately following. The Cornell Athletic Association will play host to the visitors for both events. A dance has been arranged in the evening for the visiting college news- Paper representatives. The officers for the present year are E. J. Smith, former managing editor of the Cornell Daily Sun, Presi- dent; A. tevenson, former man- aging editor of the Daily Princetonian, Vice President, and I. E.
