L, who has been in the Tombs since lost February awaiting trial for murder, to-day pleaded guilty to murder in the second degree and was sentenced to Sing Sing by Judge Crain in General Sessions for not less than twenty years nor more than fe. Mancini shot and killled Alberto Alterio, a notorious and wealthy oot- |legger, in front of No. 176 Lul- berry Street last February. Judge Crain complimented Detectives Thomas Dugan and Lewis H.
