* Agenoy).—The ‘ANTI-STRIKE BILL OPPOSED AT MARION Senator Poindexter's Visit To-Day Develops Labor's Stand Against His Measure, MARION, O., Deo. 21.-The arrival here to-day of Senator Miles Poin- dexter for a conference with Senator Harding brought to the front a dis- cussion of the Anti-Rallroad Strike Bill which was recently passed by the Senate and of which Mr. Poin- dexter is the author. In addition to his efforts to prevent strikes Senator Poindexter is one of the irreconcila- ble foes of the League of Nations organized under the peace treaty. ‘The bill has aroused opposition of railroad employees, many of whom broke away from their Democratic ties and supported Mr. Harding for President. Some of the more out- spoken describe Mr. Poindexter’s bill im harsh words and want Senator Harding to use his influence against allowing the bill ‘to.get any further, Senator Harding has not made known hig attitude on the action of the Senate in passing it without a roll call and probably will make no public statement.
