Members of the Kings County Re- pabtican Committee were warned inst might that if they ‘sist in their op~ pesttion to the idea of a League of Nations they will meet defeat at the polls in 1920, That was hinted at by severnl @penkers at an open discussion of (he @ubject in the Johnston Building, Every woman who spoke favored ‘the idea of a League of Nations, and Most of them were content with the Reot amendments.
