AROLD BAUER, English pian- ist, and Jacques Thibaud, Kreneh violinist, gave the sec- ond of their three Beethoven recitals at Aeolian Hall last night. Such a recital appeals only to serious music lovers, and it was a splendid man'- festation of New York's cultivation and taste that both the auditorium and the stage were crowded to ca- pacity. The sonatas played were the A major, opus 30; the E flat major, Opus 12; the A minor, opus 23, and the G major, opus 80, The two men, | leach distinguished for his individu. jality, have collaborated so often that their ensemble is well-nigh perfect. A. KB.
