Hendricks, former State Sena- tor and Superintendent of Insurance, retired banker, and for many years Republican leader of Onondaga Coun- ty, was seriously injured in an auto- mobile accident near this city last night. Mr. Hendricks was returning to his home along @ country road when the automobile overturned, throwing him out. Mr. Hendricks was conscious when removed from the wreckage, but suf- foring great pain.
