Tenth—The World’s Gibson Pictures will Dec- orate your Home or Office. with Next Here Is Next Sunday’s Gibson Picture Printed on Separate Sheet of Heavy Art Paper, Size 10x15 Inches. By Special Arranj COLLIER'S ¥ p, Rais 28850, THE WEAKER SEX. “The Weaker Sex'’ shows four charming girls grouped around a table and examining through a magnifying glass a mere man, as insignificant in their eyes as is an ant, pathetic in the supplication of his attitude. The four girls are four different types, each perfect of its kind, tut they are one in the coldly scientific expression with which they examine the specimen that one 1s about to impale upon her hatpin. People who are accustomed to thinking of the Gibson girl as one, just drawn in different attitudes, will have a chance here to observe four of them together and to note the striking difference between them. As an illustration of Gibson's technique this picture is splendid, and the student of art can do no better than to analyze carefully the methods whereby the effect is produced. This picture is reproduced by special arrangement with Collier’s Weekly, which has had exclusive rights to all of Mr, Gibson’s work tor the past four or five years. It is one of the last of Mr. Gibson’s Pen and Ink Drawings. He will do no more of this work. Next Sunday's World will also contain among its many special features: 1. A Double Page on ‘‘Air-Shipping’’ as the New Diversion of Society. Mother of Three Prize-Fighters and Proud of It— An Interview with the Mother of the McGoverns. 3. The True Story of Henry Irving’s Secret Romance —Told for the First Time. 4. Funny Things Done by Absent-Minded New Yorkers. 5.
