District-Attorney Jerome has sent word to thé police in Kansas City of an alleged plot of members of Sam Parks's union to create a disturbance on the floor of the convention of the In- ternational Association of Structural Iron-Workers of America. Ten mem- ders of thé unfon are now on thelr way to tho Western city, and if information furnished the District-Attorney be cor- fect they contemplate acts of violence if necessary to gain thelr seats in the ponvention, ‘This information comes from the worst of Parks's enemies, the Employers’ Association. It was Charles Cohn, the association's attorney, who communi- cated the alleged plans to Mr. Jerome, end ho does not furnish the source of his information. “I cannot teil you how we became possessed of this Information,” eaid Mr. Cohn, ‘but it' comes from what we con- der a most reliable source.
