Man with Whom Husband Ac- cused Her of Wrong-Doing Marries Noted Beauty. LONDON, Nov, 20.—The marringe of the divorced wife of the Marquis of Do wnshire to Capt, J. F. Layvock, who was named ag co-resportent In the bill for divorce that was granted in April, bas been announced The separation and divorce of the Marquis and Marchioness of Downshire Was the goselp of English soclety Inst winter and spring. The case was not defended, and attorneys for the co- respondent admjtted the charges were true. The story of the Infldelity of the Marchtoness was told in court by the Marquls, Before her marriage to the Marquis the bride was Misa Hare, one of the fairest of Irish beauties, niece of the Earl of Listowel and even after her marriage spent much of her time in Ireland, Her husband owned one of the largest estates In the United Kingdom and entertained lavishly. It was not long after the marriage that the beautiful Marchione: con- duct with Capt. Laycock began to ex- cite comment, and the sult for divorce followed. The Marchloness wrote an appealing letter to her husband asking for one parting word, but it was re- fused, MILK PRICE GOES UP. Dwellers in the Tenement Districts WiII Suffer Most. The price of milk 1s going up in the tenement-house districts. For some time the retail grocers have been selling it at a small margin of profit, at four cents a quart, and they expect’to raise the price to six cents within a few days, In districts where milk Is now sold at eight cents the dealers do not anticipate having to charge more than that for some weeks to come. The reason for this Increase in the tenement districts 1s sald to be the in- creased prices paid to the farmers, This 1s now three and one-quarter cents a quart, which is a higher price than has been paid in many months and the high- est paid at this season in many years, Shortage of supply and increasing de- mands are sald to have ccenpelled the payment to the farmers of a quarter of a Gent more from now on, od SAYS P RRY IS INNOCENT. AT FIRST GLANCE it Would Appesr that Local Remedies Would Be Best for Cure of Caterrh. Tt would neom at first glance that catarrh being = disease of the mucous membrane, that salves, spray: plied at- rectly to the membranes of the nose and throat, would be the most rational treat- ment, but this has been proven not ta be true. The mucous membrane is made and re- paired from the blood, and catarrh { blood disease, and any remedy to make a permanent cure must act on the blood, and when the blood is purified from catarrhal polson the secretions from the mucous mombrane'will become natural and healthy, In this climate thousands of people seem scarcely ever free from some form of ca- tafrh: it gets better at times, but each win- ter becomes gradually depper) seated, and after a time tho sufferer resigns himscif to {t as a necessary evil. Catarrh cures are almost as numerous as catarrh sufferers, but are nearly all so in- convenient and ineffective as to render thelr use a nuisance nearly annoying as ca. . Any one who has used dou 4 powders will bear withess convenience and failure to really cure. ‘Thepe are a number of excellent Internal remedies for catarrh, but probably the best and certainly the safest is a new remedy, composed of Red Gum, Blood Root and sim- {lar antiseptic remedies and other valuable catarrh specifics. ‘This remedy is in tablet form, pleasant to the taste, and sold by druggists under the name of Stuart's Catarrh Tablets, and any one suffering from catarrh may use thee being per-} | tablets with absolute assurance that they contain no cocaine, opiate nor any poison- ous mineral whatever. A leading druggist in Albany, speaking of catarrh cures, says: ‘I hava ‘sold various catarrh cures for years, but have never old any which gave such general satisfaction as Stuart's Catarrh Tablets. They contain tn & pleasant, concerted form all the best and latest ‘catarrh. remedies, and. catarrrh sufferers. who have used douches, sprays and salves have been astonished’ at the quick rellef and permanent results obtained After a week's use of Stuart's Catarrh Tab- All druggists sell full sized pack- lor fifty cen : Whenwe made possession.
