Attacks Were Made Without Warning and the Victim, A. | T. Smith, Did Not Retaliate tn Kind. Much mystery attaches to the causes which led up to an assault made by Gordon MacDonald, Vice- President of the Continental Trust Company and Interested in the Wall street firm of Speyer & Co., on Abel 1.
