M. on Sunday. Several years ago he had worked @ cook in the restaurant of John Benson, Alice's father, of 291 West etreet. A few moments afterwards four men tered the restaurant. One of them, @ short man with reddish hair and a blonde mustache, seemed much excited. Pointing to Alice, he exclaimed: “There she is,” and the four men went over and t beside her at the table.
