The installation of the officers for the current term took place on July 3. The members of the lodge feel proud of the new president, Rev. McK. Progress Lodge, only three months old, s making wonderful strides in the mat- ter of membership. It has already reach- ed the 100 mark and has candidates for initiation at every meeting. The members say that they will not rest until there are 200 names on the roll. Fraternity is the watchword of Colum- bia Lodge. The lodge has unusually in- teresting meetings. Mission Lodge continues to move ahead. It will soon move into new quarters at Valencia and Sixteenth streets. From the manner in which this lodge has been working it is believed that it will soon be one of the shining lights of the order. General Organizer H. C. As it is to be under the supervision of the cabinet it will be con- | stdered as a part of the good of the order branch. Senator Norman A. Arter, who was on the committee from Golden Gate Council, was forced to resign, as he had to leave for the East to attend a session of the Senate of the order, and W.
