The Grand Jury yesterday received the report of 8. W. Dennis, M. D., Marion Leventritt and James E. Daily, consti- tuting the Committee on Public Health, regarding certain allegations that the Health Board is guilty of negligence in the matter of the adulteratiom of milk. After a thorough investigation the com- mittee finds that the officials of the Health Department are using more than ordinary energy and diligence toward cor- recting the alleged evil. It is quite pos- sible, in the opinion of tI gommltteemen. that if the present vigilince continues there will be no further necessity for the Grand Jury to take cognizance of what appeared to be a neglect of official duty. The Grand Jury in adopting the find- ings of the committee recommends that the Health Board revoke the permits of all vendors of milk within the county who twice have been found violating the law governing the purity and sale of milk. If this is not done by the board the vendors of impure milk will be indicted. @ it @ W. Coffin, lot on NW corner of Eddy_ an Steiner streets, N 100, W 52, § 25, E 27, § 7 E 25; $10.
