Select a coin which fits exact- - in the box and prepare one side of it ia such a w that it resembles the bottom of the box by pasting a piece of paper similar to the inside of the box over one side of the coin. Or a better plan wouls be to paint the insi of the box black and use black paper for the coin. The performer shows the unprcparad de of the coin to the audience, and aft zllowing them to examine the box plai the coin in it with the paper side on top. When the box opened the coin will ap- parently have disappeared. Egg and Card Trick.~ I will show you how to produce an egg zout the help of handkerchief, as done most magicians. To perform this' trick we need a pre- pared card. After blowing out the con- tents of an egz we stick the cgg shell (g the back of a card with a litt X and show it to the audience (as pictured in a). Lowering the right hand, wh hoid- ing the card, with the left hand, we hide the card in the inside of the left hand (as shown in b). Thereby the egg has become separated from the card and brought in the position in which it will appear a moment later (c).
