The aniform dullness that characterized the early season has be- come a thing of the past and each day brings forth some new pleasure for the fortunate guest at the interior hotels. Although many have returned, called to town by the reopening of the schools, still the reports from the seaside, the mountains, the lakes and the springs show many are stidl line gering to enjoy the delights of midsummer. On-last Monday evening the ‘“Madrones” of Mill Valley were the special guests of honor at a moonlight cruise on the bay from Sausa- lito.
