War- ren, an old and trusted employe of the Cook Medical institute, at 112 South Four- teenth street, vesterday morning. War- ren's limp and lifeless body was found , stretched across an operating table in the operating room of the left wing of the bullding. All the doors and windows were mecurely fastened and the gas jets opened as wide as possible, allowing a full flow of gas to escape. When discovered by Janitor Kellor, War- ren was still alive, but had inhaled so much of the deadly substance that he expired within five minutes after being found, al- though Dr. Chenoweth, manager of the in- stitute, and Police Surgeon Schieler, who were called in, administered emetics and Gid all in their power to save his life. There appears to be no reason for the deed committed by Warren. His employer does not know why he sought to destroy himself and cannot accouht for his act. ‘Warren hus not been despondent and was making fair wages. IHe was about 30 years ©ld and unmarried. He has a brother living at Lone Star, Kan, whence he is sald to have come over a year ago. His relative has been notified of his death. TABLE SALE—Orchard & Wilhelm Car pet Co.
