Louls has been signed by Omaha to play first base during the ill- ness of Dave Calhoun. Pears will be we recalled here as an old-time Western league pitcher. Since his retirement from the box he has been playing various fleld positions and lately has been ocovering first base for & fast independent club at St. Louls He will be in the game on Sunday. This will help the Omaha team out of & With Thomas on first the team was left without an extra catcher.
