Death of Ira Platner, Tra Platnar, one of the oldest residents of Council Bluffs, died yesteraay morning at his home, after along illness. He was born in Cherry Valley, N. Y., January 9, 1817, and arrived in "this city at the age of 34 years. For over forty years be has lived in the Bluffs, and during that time he has been a prominent figure in local affairs.
