Judge Wakeley has docided the Bemis park sewer injunction case and in a measurc all of the parties are made happy. Some weeks ago tho board of public works advertised for bids for the construction of the sewer, which was to oxtend from the lower end of Bemis' park west to Lowe avenue, south on Loweavenuo to Cuming street, and thence west. Later on and after tho work was well under way, Dr. S, D. Mercer, who lives near the proposed new sewer and owns a lurge tract of land along the diteh, happened to discover what was going on and at once has- tened to the district court, where he secured o temporary restraining order.
