Judge Loofbourow Treats the Sinners Rather Mildly — Salvationists Quarrel About Secing the Girls H me. Mistake in a Telegram. The case of Z. T. Lindsey against the Western Union Telegraph company was de- cided yesterday afternoon by Judge Loof- bourow. In this case there was no dispute about the facts, it being purely a controversy of law. Mr. Lindsey, while selling goods in the west, had his sample trunks left at South Pueblo, Col., the hotel porter not getting them down tothe train in time. On reaching Canyon City Mr. Lindsey telegraphed back to have the trunks forwarded to Salida. In some way the telegram, in being transmitted, was made to read Salt Lake instead of Sa- lida, and the trunks were sent there. Mr. Lindsey was put to an expense of about in getting his trunks back, and was delayed in Lis business for about a weeck.
