The mud and rubbish has been allowed to accumu'ate so on the paved streets that a stranger visiting the oity would hardly know that Council Bluffs had any paving. There should be some system of cleaning adopted. Even the democratic organ will not have the gall tc say this time that Coun- oll Bluffs sent a large and enthusisatio delegation 10 Omaha to attend the ratifi- catlon. A little too wintry a night. A delegation of young men from the Omaha association will visit the Y. M. C. A. this evening to hold the monthly con- ference. Tnese gatherings have all been profitable and well attended. An in- creasod attendance is expeoted this even- ing. All young men are invited to be present. 5 The Nonparell saysit “believes that it is honorable journalism to acknowledge and rectify orrors that may ocour in its columns.
