Jetter thinks he entitled to it for the renson he first discovered the robber; Keppner for the reason that Tiller was captured in his store and the police be- causo they made the arrest. Prenident Morsman says the company are willing to pay a resonable gratuity and he thinks tho claim of Jetter the mots substantial one. The Board of Public Works held a special meeting last evening with Chair. man Creighton and Member Baker pree- ent, The appointment of inepectors was firat called up. Lawrence Duggan was appointed for the south branch of south Omaha sewer; Samuel Stober for the ex- tension of Jones street sewer eastward; Luther Poland on Waring sewer, district No. 18; Geo. L. Dennis on Riiey & Co.’s Waring sewer contract in districts 14 and 17; C. M. Donovan Aaron Hoel's Waring sewer contract in districts 15 and 16 and P. C. Larson stone paving. The:e appointments were made with tho un- derstanding that the inspectors are to go to work only as they aro needed.
