Tilden. Sometime ago the report that Mr, Tildou was parting with his Union Pacific boldings was met by tha semi-official statement that the 12,000 or 13,000 shares of that stock which stood in his name on the books, was not transferred. Said stock was placed in his namein 1881, It is stated to-day that Tilden has sold 12,500 shares of Union Pacific at bo- tween 66 and G6jo, The delivery of 5,000 shares was allegod to have boen mado dwiog | i the day in Tildon's name, and bearing date of immediate transfer.
