Desmond, Julius Treft- schke, Pat. Ford, Tom KFaulkner and Wm. Anderson. Fifteen minutes recess was thon taken. AFTER RECESS, The committee on credentils made its report whish was adopted. Mr. T. J. Fitzmorris moved to pro- coed to the nominatirn of six coancil men at large, each ward to present i‘s candidate to be balloted for by the conveution. Mr. Anderson moved as an amend- ment that the convention first proceed to ballot for mayor. The motion as amcnded was lost. It was then moved by Mr, Hall that the conventin nominate Hon, James E.
