CINCINNATI, March 26.—A land. slide near Mason, on the Ciucinnati Southern rallroad, thls morning, threw the north bound passenger train from the track. S'x'y persons are reported injured; none killed The place of the accident is 40 miles from here. The whole traln did not leave the track. The cause of the sco!dent, later In- formation shows, was a broken rail. The englne and baggage car remained on the track, the smoking car was partly thrown off, and the ladies’ car entirely lefc the track and stood almost at right angled with the road, the lower end down the embankmoent. This car subsequently burned. Two sleoping cars rolled down the em. bankment snd were badly wrecked. Very few passengers escaped without some injury, though most of the {njuries are not serlons.
