How @& Boston Drummer Was Suddenly Called Home, And Why He Wore His Ulster. The papers have been so flooded for the past tew days with election mat- ters and news of a similar sensational charscter that perhaps something more substantial will prove a relief to readers about this time, An item that may the fill bill comes from lower Tenth street, which was the scene of a first-class mensation on Monday While we have the names in our pos- sossion, and they also appear in police court, it 18 not necessary to parade them before the public, but simply give the facts are they are said to have occurred. | It seems that a well known businesa man of lower Tenth street, whose wife businees, told her Monday night that he was going to attend the demo- cratic rally at Boyd’s opera hovse. For some reason he chauged his mind, and after getting some meat for break- fast went home to leave it with his wife. He found a lady sitting in the front room of the house, and noticed something rather suspicious about the appearance of things. He did not wait for any explanation, but at once opened the door leading to his wife's bedroom and found her in flagrante delictw with a Boston drum- mer, whose name is well known to the business men of Omaha, and in- stead of shooting or cutting or any- thing of that kind, he seized the in- truder's coat and breeches and at once made off with them. The fellow jumped out of bed and succeeded in grabbing the pants and got away from the husband, but his coat was goiten away with. The drummer went to a friend, and garment, and left on the firsL train yesterday moraing for St. Louis. Previous to this, however, the hus. band, who had an idea that he might be arrested for petit larceny, consulted a prominent attorney, who, in order to guard sgainst any contingency, filed a complaint in the police court charging the parties with her famous Merrie Makers, will ap- | the cut on Sixteenth and Harney, to|adultery and at the same time filed a pear at Boyd's opera house next Fri. | bring said streets to grade.
