Neb, Water, Neb, ‘Philadelphia Press. The pulpit of the Protestant Epis- copal church of the Epiphany, corner of Fifteenth and Chestnut streets, yosterday afternoon was occupied by Rov. T. J. Macksy, a wmissionary from Leadville, Col., who delivered a brief but interesting discourse on mizsion- ary lifo in Colorado. Beginning with a dosoription of the character of the country, its plctaresque grandeur, fer- tilo fields and pleassnt climate, the reverend speaker proceeded to relate his experionce in the town of Lead- ville. ““When I went to Lsadville,” ssid he, “fifteen months ago, I found it a mott astonishing placs, Iustead of a hamlet I found a thrivinz town with churches of every denomination, five bauks, five daily newspapers and braes bands at every coraer atnight. I was sstonished and so would anyone else have been.
