Dorsey, of Bloomington, Nebrasks, at 7 p. m., January 26t8, in his forty-eighth year, Mr. Dorsey was a native of In- dians, and came to Nebcaska in 1856, and made this state his home from that datelto the time of his death. He was accompanied by his younger brother, Hon. Ohatles G, Dorsey. Thetwo brothers landed at Brown ville and made that place their_home for several years. Aboutten years ago they both moved to Buatrice, where Mr. Charles G. Dorey still resides. Mr. G. W. Dorsey removed to Blooming- ton smong the first sottlers {n Frank- lin county, and became olosely identi- fied with the growth and business in- terests of the Republican valley. In December, 1876, he was appointed re- ceiver of the United States land office, located st Bloomington, and just, prior to his_death received 8 commission from President Hayes for the coming four year He had soffered for months with lung_troubles, and last week was removed from Bloomington to his brother's, Wm.
