FULL ASSOCIATED PRESS msn-rcm st Root. w“ mfn mnn%efins Picturu at ANNOUNCEMENTS "= BREED THEATRE. ™ Big Double Feature Bill for Monday and Tuesday of Next Week. The.feature sareen produotion at the Breed theatre for todaJ is The ''Come- back, featuring the popular young Etellar combination, old Tiockwood end May WAllison, The Comeback is a thrilling story of the great north woods and s produced In five superb nets. A le cast appears in the suppert of the stars and includes Les- er Cuyneo, Howard Truesdell, George lenry, Bert Starkey and Mitchell Lewis. There is a wexlth of excellent photography fn this production, as it was taken in the picturesque couptry around the Dead river, Maine, where the players were carriel into the real setting of the story. Scores of native lumberjacks and mountaineers were used in the big scenes. The Breed also presents Max Fig- man in a very funny comedy entitled Ducks is Ducks. This picture is of special interest to local theatregoers, as Channing Huntington, a local young man, assisted in directing‘the picture, and also appears in it. For Monday and Tuesa: the man- agement announces a bill of‘extraordi- nary excellence, consisting of two feature attractions, a five part Metro drama featuring the illustrious Fran- cis X, Bushmean, entitled A Million a Minute, and the million dollar come- dian, Charlie Chaplin, in the most laughable of his screen characteriza- tions, a two‘act comedy entitled Po- lice. A Million a Minute is a thrilllng story of mystery, Intrigne and adven- ture covering two continents, and con- taining many interesting characters. It contains many interesting scenes, some of which were photographed on the transatlantic steamer as she was coming up the bay, and shows many glimpses of New York's ekyscrapers and the city’s wonderful waterfront. In Police, Charlie Chaplin is seen at best. IHe encounters a series comic and near-tragic adventures and 7ill keep the audience in a continuous minutes. oar for thirty Comipleting the bill for Monday and Tuesday, the Breed will also present the etro Travelogue and Mr. ar« (Irs. Sidney Drew in The Lady Killer. Owing to the length of the perform- ance the matinee will start at 2.15 and the ev g show 1 start at 6.45 and 845 p. m. There will be no al- vance in prices. Both acts are rated among the best and for what the vaudeville show lacks in quantity it will make up for in quality. The Paramount five reel feature for Monday and Tuesday will be David sarrick, featuring Dustin Farnum and taken from the well known book of the me name. The V. L. S. Four Jhows Today, at 1.30, 3.15, 6.45 and 245—Three Good Keith Acts and Douglas Fairbanks in a Triangle Feature. Anyone who wants to see an alround #ood show of vaudeville and plctures cannot do better than visit the Dav today and see the Dill that has caused so much talk the past two days. The feature attraction is the old; favorite: Brown, Harris and Brown, two men d a woman, and they have the fun- niest act ever scen in this theatre, This 1s an act that the children will enjoy, for Mr. Brown is funny and doesn’t need to_resort -to-vulgarity to get people laughing. “Another good act 1s Jack Donohue, a comedian and dancer that has been a big hit here. plays even seen in this city for the money. The headline attraction is the huge spectacular musical comedy of- fering entitled A Dream of The Orient featuring Madame Makarenke and her beautiful Oriental girls. There are ten people in the act and it is the most pretentious feature that has ever played this theatre. They carry two special stage settings and numerous Oriental rugs and draperies, the gor- geousness of which has never bean equalled in any vaudeville attraction that has appeared at this theatre. Every member of the company is an accomplished singer and for dancing, this act is in a class by itself. They carry their own musical director, who leads the orchestra and sings & solo in a rich baritone voice. The costum- ing of the act has not been neglected and the girls make several changes throughout the ‘performance, elthough this act is the most expensive duction ever seen here and is a ole show in itself the managemeni have not. strinted on the bill. There will be two other acts besides this one, namo- 1y, Burps and Lyman, two expert danc- ers and comedians, and Bob Tenney, & black face musical comedian, who pro- vides music and mirth that anyone will enjoy. In the photo plays the Triangle feature is called Honor Thy Name, with Frank Keena Charles Ray and Louis Glaum as the _ stars. This is a five part Ince production and a great big message is carried to the world with the thesis of this pro- duction. An old fashioned father of the sturdy patriotic stock of the South shows his erring son that a good name is even more’ to be guarded than life itself. The son falls in with a rath- er fast set in New York and allows a woman_of the usual type to enslave him, The complications that ensue while the father tries to separate the boy from this calculating woman forms one of the sensational elements of the story, There is the usual funny two reel Keystone comedy on the bill and De Wolf Hopper is the star. Matinee at 2.15 daily, all seats 10 cents. BEvening at 6.45 and 8.45, 10. 15 and 20 cents, reserved. { ATOP THE ‘MAJESTIC. Tonight will be vour last chance to attend the Majestic Roof Garden and see the excellent picture bill and en- the dancing, refreshments, etc., as 1l close for the season after to- ! night’s performance. The 13th epi- sode of The Mysteries of Myra will be one of the picture attractions this evening. This picture will run for two more weeks and will be shown at the Anditorium theatre on the next two Frid.ys and Saturdays. Other pic- @res on the Dbill tonight are Would | ¥cu Forgive Her? a three reel Selig drama, and Will 2 Woman Tell? a comedy reel by company. the Vim Jacobs' orchestra will be heard tonight for the last time here, and all who can should avail themselves of dane- ling once more to the excellent music rnished by this popular orchestra.
