Windham County WINDHAM Annual Meeting of Library Association ~lLarrabee Family Reunion—Land- lord Challenger and Bride Return to the Inn, The annual meeting of the Windham Free Library association was held in the reading room Monday evening. The report of the secretary stated that about $190 hed been raised by means of a sunper, several teas, an ice cream sale and a food sale. ‘The library is open twice a week in the summer and once a week during the winter months. The librarian report- ed 1,758 books given out, an average of 26 a day. -Sixty-four new books have been added the past year, of which 18 were gifts. The Brown sys- tem of checking has been installed. The librarian’s expenses were paid to three state meetings and she spent four days at the library institute at Storrs. The report of the treasurer showed the receipts to have been $224.88, with a balance on hand of $63.83. The pur- chase of a new stack for bocks, in- stalling clectricity and the matter of putting on a corrugated iron roof were discussed and each item left in the hands of its special committec. The old officers were electe President, Dr. ¥. E. Guild; vice-president, Guil- ford Smith; secretary, Miss Josephine Bingham; treasurer, H. C. Lathro auditor, 1. H.
