Baer to congress from the First district of North Dakota now rests with Nonpartisan league members—with YOU. John Baer has done his duty. Day and night - for three weeks he has been carrying his message direct to the people. The officers of the League have done their duty. They have routed the speakers, arranged the meetings, printed thousands of posters and pamphlets and sat up nights directing the cam- paign. They have not overlooked the slightest detail to help Baer, your candidate. The Leader has done its duty. It has turned congress in the above cartoon. You would hardly think th at this enthusiastic parade of voters was O THE FUNERAL OF THE OLD POLITICAL GANG AND ANTI-FARMER PRESS in the First Before the Battle cause. The election is July 10. Every farmer who lets anything keep him from the poils on that day is casting a vote against himself and for the food gamblers, for the politicians and for the anti- farmer press and the interests it represents. The issue is clear cut. Baer’s election is a vie- tory for the farmers—for you. His defeat is a vic- tory for the food gamblers, the grain combine and the reptile anti-farmer press. There are four daily papers in the district. The Grand Forks Herald, which has been fighting you and your organization for two years, is fighting the election of Baer. The Fargo Forum, WHOLE NUMBER 94, - the white light of publicity on every phase of purchased recently to fight you, which advocated _Baer’s life. It has disclosed the'hand of the big mob violence to suppress League speakers in interests who hope to defeat the farmers by beat- Fargo, is not supporting Baer. It is actively sup- ' ing Baer. It has boosted Baer by picture, story porting another candidate.
