i i | 1\ Make Your Ballot Count July 10 You must be careful in mark- Ing your ballot at the special elec- tion July 10 in the First district of MNorth Dakota. To vote for John M. Baer, farmers’ candidate, indorsed by the Nonpartisan league, mark your ballot as shown on the sample ballot on this page. Place a cross or ‘‘X’’ after the name . of John M. Baer. After Baer’s name on the ballot appear the words, ‘‘Nonpartisan, Indors- ed by the Nonpartisan League.’”’ This will help you to identify your candidate. No other candidate has a right to use the words ‘‘In- dorsed by the League.”’ However, another candidate. uses the word - ‘‘Nonpartisan’’ after his name, together with the words ‘‘Progressive Republican.’’ Do not be deceived by this use of the word ‘‘Nonpartisan’’ by this other candidate. HE IS NOT YOUR CANDIDATE. HE HAS NOT BEEN INDORSED BY THE LEAGUE. This candidate is a party man, as shown by his use of the word ‘‘Republican.’”’ He can not be a Nonpartisan if he is a party man and therefore his use of the word ‘‘Nonpartisan’’ is de- ceiving. Baer is the only Nonpar- tisan on the ballot. No party name is tied to him. He is ‘““Non- partisan, Indorsed by the Non- partisan League.’’ You ean not make a mistake on your ballot' if you consult this sample ballot beforehand and make sure -how your candidate’s name appears. Simply look for the name John M. Baer and make a cross or an ‘‘X’’ in the proper square after his name. Baer’s election depends on every loyal League member properly marking his ballot.
