Why don’t he go after that $1000 check, as we see it ready for him after proof. I don’t understand why anybody readers in no uncertain terms on account of his stand against the inter- ests of the farmers in this campaign. D.—Dear Sir: We, the undersigned members of the Nonpartisan League, do hereby protest against the unwarranted and malicious attacks upon the farmers’ movement in this state and its officers and organizers. In view of the fact that you are a man of considerable learning and have, on occasions, show sympathy for the producing class—in other lands—it is with keen regret and with feeling of bitterness that we see you betraying the interests of the producing class at home. We know full well that you are not conscientious when you berate the farmers’ movement of this state as a move to destroy small business men of our towns and to instill class prejudice in the minds of the tillers of the soil.
