The season of the year is mear at hand when the farmers begin to investigale to see how clean sced grain they have been able to secure. Last year they were fairly success- ful in separating wild oats from barley, oats, and wheat by blowing. it out with an ordin- ary fanning-mill. This year, however, it cannot be done in this manner, for the wild oats are just a3 piump and heavy as the cul- tivated oats. They have also found, on sep- aratling with sieves, that lots of the wild oats . are just as short as the barley and will go through the mesh of the sieves. You probably have found that after run- ning seed through a fanning-mill you have from one to three kernels of wild oats left in every quart of sced grain. This is enough ‘to- plant one seed in every square rod of your. field. You will probably say that you are sowing.clean seed wheat. Realizing that this ‘is the case, you are.sowing clean seed in your wheat field, are you going to sow this pest, wild oats, back in your barley, oats and rye just to save $35—the cost of a special wild oals- separator?. It is ‘sent out on the guar- antee to separate wild oats from oats, barley and rye more nearly nperfect than any other machine on the market. If it fails to do this work it can be returned to ‘the factory and money, including transpor- tation charges, refunded. Can you afford to sow any-more crops and expeet to get rid of wild oats without the use of one of these special wild oats separators? I build these machines in two sizes, the larger which has twice the capacity of the smaller, at $556, and the smaller or farm size at_$35. \ 5 - g I-can make prompt shipments from now on and hope. to receive your order.
