Judge Donohue, tn Supreme Court, Chambers, franted @ writ of ne exeat yesterday, on appll- cation of Mr. 8, B, Hamburger, counsel for Simon Donao, against Benjamin Shuman, @ lager beer brewer in the Nineteenth ward. The writ was granted on the ground that Siuman was about to goto California with the !otent to cheat and defraud Donau. The writ was at once placed in the hands of the Sheriff, with directions to require Shuman to furnish $15,000 bail that he would not leave the State. Andrew J, Odell has brought sntt for divorce from his wife, Annie E. Ovell, alleging that at the time of their marri she had another busband hiving, from whom she had not been legally di- ‘vorced, She avers that she obiained @ divorce tn Connecticut, that the plainriff knew all about it #t the time and furnished her money to prosecute thesult.
