PHILADELPHIA, Pa., May 14, 1876, ‘The spring meeting at Point Breeze Park ter- minated this afternoon with two fine raceg, The ‘first wae for three-minute horses, in harness, for @ purse of $300, and was won by Lady Fashion, | 7, winving the third, fourth and fifth heats in 334536, 2:46 and 2:43 3. The bay mare Bionde won the first two heats in 2:41 3; and 2:41, second contest a ‘for 2:30 horses, in har- mess, for a purse of $450. The first heat was won by Spowball in 2:82%, the second and thira by in 2:33% and 2:36, Honest Billy then came to the front and won the purse, taking the three subsequent heats tn 2:3534, 2:35% and 2:37 34. LEXINGTON (KY.) RACES. LexinoeTon, May 14, 1874. ‘Ths was the fourth day of the races. The weather was fine, the attendance very large and the track in good condition. FIRST RACE, A hurdle race, two miles, over eight hurdies, welter weignts, for @ purse of $250; $200 tothe first and $50 to the second horse. The following horses were entered:—Richards’ ch. f. Summer Duck, McGrath’s blk. m. Lucy Jackson and his b. m. Oleander. In the pools McGrath’s entries sold together at $50; Summer Duck, $34 Lucy Jackson won the race by a few lengths, Summer Dack second and Uleander about a quarter of a mile behind. Time, 3:52%. SEOOND RACE. Selling race, mile and @ quarter dash, purse $150. Four horses were entered—viz., Cameron’s Leamington colt, Colston’s Cape Cod, Buford’s b. ®. and Farris’ Joe B, Cameron’s entry was the favorite. In the pool selling Cameron’s brought $200, Buford’s $150, Colston’s $40 and Joe B. $25. Buford’s entry got the lead, closely pressed by Cameron’s. After passing the string Cameron’s coli endeavored to take the lead. At this point Buford’s geiding made a dasn across the track, forcing Joe 8. upon the embankment next to the eutside fence. Second Annual Banquet at Delmonico’s Last Evening—An Enjoyable Occa- | sion. The members of the Produce Exchange had their second annual dinner at Delmonico’s, corner Four- teenth street and Filth avenue, last evening. | Frank:in T, Edson, President of the Exchange; | Henry Hentz, B.
