Greenwooa on the Tallahatchie is entirely submerged, the water there being higher than in 1867, No serious damage re- sulted irom tie Hushpacsana crevasse, and fears of @ general overiiow are sunsiding. A lew more days of clear weather with the tre- mendous current now in the river will suiMce to carry off nearly all the water covering tillabie lands, Only tittle over one-third of the lands is now under water. Merchants and planters are quite hopeful and the indivations are that the crops in the Yazvo Valley will not be so elarm- ingiy short as ieared. A BONDED WAREAOUSE ROBBED, The Affair Shrouded in Mystery. At twelve o’clock last night two gentlemen hastily entered the detective office at Police Head- quarters and stated to the officer at the desk that a bonded warehouse in South street had been robbed during the ore part of the night of .a large amount of very valuable property. One of them was about to enter into details when the officer, noticing several reporters present, advised him to say nothing lor the present that the public could get nold of.
