Mr. Adams did not ap- pear by the 15th, and the Commissioners conse- quently considered they were iree from any obliga- tions to him, Mr. Adams dtd not think so, however, and he commenced this action inst the Commissiouers in the Supreme Court of New York, at the same time (May 6), obtaining an injunction from Judge G. AFTER THE DESERTION OF THK MOTHER Mr. Earle procured an estunable lady to live in his family and care for the children. Becoming en- eared to the children and consulting only their happiness Mr. Farie eventuaily married Miss Cole. mau, his housekeeper, shortly after the decree of divorce was granten for desertion, about two years ago. Previous to this, nowever, Mr. Earle had spent @ year in Europe for bis heaith, durimg which Mrs, Earle had taken the children to Salem.
