SARATOGA, August 10, 1809, ‘The race meeting at Saratoga closed to-day with three capital races, the first being # dash of amile and three-quarters, the second a four mile dasb, and te third a dash of a mile and an eighth. In the ‘Hirst race there were six starters, Corsican, Viley, Biecty, M. H. Sanford, Nemesis and Julius. Corsican, the favorite against the field, won a good race In ex- cellent time. He is a much improved colt since jast year.
