The Bonk of Epgland returns for the week ended Wednesday last are satisfectory, indicating a cessation of the drain upon the establishment both for gold and notes, with some influx of bullion, the total etock of which is re- turned at £11,617 ,616, being an increase of £96036. The reserve of notes has increased £103,900, the total in hand being £5,332,200. The other securities are £64,904 less, and as the rest gives an increase of not more than’ £10,567, it is evident that there was not up to Wednesday last avy pressure upon the bank for discounts, The other depo- site are again less by £543, which would indicate that money i# more wanted out Hi doors.
