The Conference Committee of the Republican and Ame- rican County Conventions met last evening in tho West- chester House, corner of Bowery and Broome street. The Joint Committee consisted of one republican and one American from each ward. Speeches were mado io favor of harmony and a union ticket, after which the Re- pbtices ¢ Committee retired to a separate room for consul- tation. About an hour having elapsed, they retarned with the followin feaolubion, Which was’ read. by Eagar Ketchum, their chairiman:— Kesolved, That the off of Sheriff, Judge of the Supremo Court, and two Coroners, be given to the American party, and that the republicans take the offices of County Clerk, District Auoruey , Saper- visor, and two Coroners.
