PMPORTANT TO CREDITORS OF CORPORATIONS, On Wednesday last au order was obtained by Bliss & Brown, one of the creditors of the North American Gutta Percha Company, to compel the latter, by their President, f& make discovery, on oath, concerning their property. The defendants refisod. to. Ue oxaminod.‘on the ground that a corporation was not a judgment debtor within the weaning of section 202 of the Code. It mererene? by Honry S$. Bennett for plaintiffs; and Wm. Leo- uard for defendanta. The Court held that @ eorpo- ration, not being a “person,” could not be examined as other judgment debiors.
