Thomas C examined vy the District At- torpoy, deposed. 2d of July I made @ poat mortem *xamivation of the body of Edward Bo gan at the Fourth ward station house; I found » wound at tho beck part of the head and uoper part of the neck; 1 found 75 perforations by shot; some of tho shot were fiutt-ned, end #ome of them were round (produces them); I found sevaral of them ia the upper portion of the spinal marrow, end 1 removed them; those thet en'ered the spina: marrow are what caused his death; rone ot them perforated the ekuil but merely locged sgainst it; it was the upper part ol the back of the neck that was wouvded; a space about the size of my hand; the shot entered between the low- er part of the sku‘l avd the first bone of the spine.
