'S THIRD SOIREE, AT MONTAS ME A bASNAY Hall, Brooklyn, will take place to-morrow evening, January 21, DELPHI THEATRE.—DAVID COPPERFIELD, THE fourth of the series of plays adapted from Dickens? works, was produced last evening to a crowded house, and met with complete success. ‘The drama is preceded by a prologue, in which David is introduced to the audience as the ragged, homeless urchin, finding a refuge beneath the roof of Aunt Betsy Trotwood! (Mrs Juda.) In the play proper, he appears as the gay and dashing young fellow, with large expectations, entering upon life in London, and lmpetuously making love to Agnes. (sllss Cond.) Mrs. Baker ausmned this character, and. filled it with & charming ease of manner and_eprightliness that added to its pleasant features. Mr. Baker appeared as Wilkins Micawber, and dressed and acted the character to the life. £0 faithful was it to the conception of the author, that his first appearance on the stage was greeted with a con- tinued applause that interrupted, for a while, the pro- gress of the play, and which was repeated until the happy denouement, whe interesting family, the exposer of the yillany of Uriah Heep, (Mr. Thoman,) and the restorer of the happiness ofall'the other parties coneerned, ‘The gratification of the audience was expressed by calling Mr. and Mrs. Baker before the curtain, at the close of the piece, to be grected with their renewed plaudits. ‘This play is to be presented again this evening, together with the fareo of FAMILY JA ODWORTH’S CONCERT.—THE SECOND CONCERT OF Dodworth’s Series takes place on Saturday evening, January 22, at Metropolitan Hall, Subscription (twelve admissions) to the Serics Single Tickets... .. MORSE’S INVI- gorating eordial.—Dr. Morse’s invigorating cordial, for genital debility, impotency, incontinence, &. The astonishing guccesn! which, has attended this fnvaluable medicine, for loss of masculine energy, physical lasitude and moral prostration, or ony of tho consequences of youthful indiscretion, or indulgence of the passions in riper years, renders’ it the thost valuable preparation ever discovered; in fact, as a remedy for the above com- plaints it stands unrivalled and alone. There is no other reliable remedy, or any that has authentically recoived the sanction of the medical faculty. The wonderful ve- table production of which this medicine is composed has Geen tevted, and its virtues prodaimed, by tho highest names of the faculty of London, Paris, and the chief cities of Europe, as well as by eminent physicians in this country. Itis the only infalli iy for nervous, and mind complaints—the mental physic so long soughy for and never before found—the only agent that ean administer to mind diseases. It will remove all nervous affections, depression, excitement, incapacity to study or business, loss of memory, confusion, thoughts of self- destruction, fear of insanity, &e. It will restore the ap: tite, renew the health of those who have destroyed it fi sensnal excesses or evil practices. Dr. Wood, of Massachusetts, writes of one of his pa- tients being cured by using this cordial, thus:—“It gives me pleasure to inform you that one of my patients, while in Boston, procured some of your cordial. He tells me he had not a'single emission afer he commenced taking it, while before he had two or three a week. When he ay lied te me,”’ says Dr. W., “I thought tt hardly henge for him ever to regain his full strength. I prescribed the usual medicines used in these cases in the hospital, but they had no effect. _In the meantime,he purchased some of your cordial, which has effected a cure, I am satisfied no other medicine would. I 4 ever recommend it whenever an opportunity occurs. The nature of the maladies relieved by this cordial are generally such as to leave the publication of certificates of cures out of the question, or the proprietor would pro- duce a host of the most conclusive testimony, to show that the great reputation it enjoys was not accidentally obtained, but is firmly based upon its positive and appa- rently miraculous virtues. In all directions are to be found the happy parents of healthy offspring, who would not have been so but for this extraordinary preparation. And it is equally potent for many diseases for which it is recommended, THE MEDICAL JOURNALS have not, in asingle instance that has been authenticated, given their sanction to any other preparations for the above complaints, It has, in many violent and desperate cases, effected radical cures, after patients had been abandoned, and their condition [aot pes hopeless by medical practitioners of high professional character. THE COMMON EXPRESSION of those who have used this extract, is: ‘Thad heard our cordial highly spoken of, but was one of the incredu- jous in regard to {ts merits. Having tried various medi- cines sold for the same bn ge or me sarsaparillas) —without deriving any benefit, I had almost given up al hopes of deriving any relief, and when I purchased some of your Cordial I had no faith whatever of its benefitting me. But it has; I feel stronger; have had no emissions since, although ’tis not three weeks; lam satisfied the half dozen bottles I took will cure me. Another says:—“ I had consulted several distinguished cured; others pre- seribed this thing and that, but Ifound no relief until I procured some of your cordial. I must say it completely cured me.’? Another says—‘T was surprised at the effect your cor- dial had. Why had I not heard of it before? It would haye saved me so much expense, besides years of mental and bodily suffering.”” M.
